My Practice

My work begins with wildlife, but it is equally concerned with the landscapes animals inhabit and the fragile relationships that bind them to those places. Working primarily in oil, I paint animals in moments of stillness, vulnerability, and quiet presence, drawing attention to lives that are easily overlooked.

My current practice increasingly turns toward the Balkans, its wildlife, and its disappearing habitats. Through painting, field observation, and collaboration with conservation initiatives, I explore the space between human presence and the natural world, and how art can bear witness to what is at risk of vanishing.
